How do I pay for my party?
There are many options for paying for your party! You can either bank transfer, pay via the phone or come into the farm and pay directly at the till; whatever’s most convenient for you! A minimum payment of £75.00 will need to be paid as a deposit and the final £75.00 can be paid on the till on the day.
What are the lunch options?
We offer two delicious party lunch options with all allergies and intolerances catered for!
Cold: Sandwich (Ham, cheese, tuna jam), crisps, fruit, freddo, drink
Hot: Chicken nuggets (vgo), fries, veg sticks, freddo, drink
What about if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel for any reason please try to provide as much notice as possible, the deposit shall be kept, and the remaining balance will not need to be paid.
We will make all attempts to ensure your party goes ahead, but if in an unlikely circumstance we must cancel your party an alternative date shall be provided, and your deposit shall be returned if this date does not suit. We still operate in unpleasant weather conditions, so we therefore advise any party members to come dressed appropriately with proper footwear and clothing.
What if my child’s younger than 5?
We are very flexible in our parties so please state anything we need to know eg ages, additional needs, allergies in your initial enquiry so we can tailor your party to make it perfect! In some cases we may ask that each child present has an adult stay with them throughout the duration of the party.
Do you have parking?
Yes! We have a designated onsite car park so there is no hassle when arriving for your party.
What do you provide?
We have tried to make our parties as simple as possible for those booking so all you need to do is turn up! Within our package we provide:
- A guided tour around the farm meeting and greeting our animals.
- Goat feeding and pig feeding foraging activity
- Small animal handling (inc tortoises, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits)
- A private eating space which you can decorate if you wish too, where a tablecloth, balloons and background music will be provided
- Hot and cold lunch options (nuggets, chips and veg sticks or sandwich party boxes)
- A party bag per child
- A mini farmer sticker per child
- Pdf invitations for if you wish to print them out for your guests
Do you provide a cake?
Unfortunately we do not provide a cake or candles however we can offer plates, napkins and cake cutting equipment for if you wish to bring one.
Do we have exclusive use of the farm?
The farm is open to the general public but all activities and the eating space are exclusive to the party group.
What activities will the children be doing?
Within the exclusive farm tour children can look forward to feeding our cheeky goats, handling our adorable resident small animals including tortoises, rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens, seeing how much treasure they can find for our pigs, collecting their own eggs to take home and much more!
What to do when you arrive
Your party will start at your allocated time whether all-party members have arrived so please try to arrive 10 minutes early to ensure smooth running, we do not provide a birthday cake so therefore if you wish to bring your own, please bring it in with you at the start of your party. The party room will have a few decorations in (table cloth, banner, balloons- which can be taken home) so if you wish to decorate your space, please state this in an email to us so we can prepare for your early arrival.
Your party will end at its allocated time and gift bags (which are provided by us) and mini farmer stickers will be given out, all guests must then leave the food eating area so that staff can tidy up and prepare for the next party. If you are on a 10-12 party your allocated party lunch will be 11:30-12. If you are on a 1-3 party your allocated party lunch will be 2:30-3.
When you arrive at the farm, please park in our designated car park and enter the café through the main entrance where your party host will meet you inside. 6 children and a minimum of 2x adults are able to join in with the party tour and any other adults are able to either drop off their child, stay in our onsite café or if any additional parents would like to join in with the tour, they are more than welcome but we politely ask that they stay in the background so that the animals and children have enough space to enjoy the experience and the animals aren’t crowded.
