Getting ready for sales day 7th December 11-3, everyone is welcome!

November is a time for finishing off projects and getting ready for colder weather approaching us in winter. Some of the vegetable beds have been covered and insulated, this is to stop any new seeds from settling into the soil and to keep the soil a little warmer so that any seeds already in the bed wont be killed in colder temperatures. The horticulture team are in full swing with making wreaths ready for our sales day on 7th December 11-3. Be sure to pop down and check the farm out, there will be lots on offer including Christmas trees,…

We have all welcomed some warmer weather at the farm this April! We have finally finished lambing with Lion making us wait 5 weeks after the first ewe lambed! The tipi is now up ready for all of the wedding we have ahead of us this summer! It is looking especially good this year surrounded by its new fencing! All of the grass and plants have really shot up over the past couple of the weeks and the farm is really starting to fill up with colour. We even managed to get into the fields to give them a harrow…

Mega March

Mega March

March has been a wonderful time at the farm where we have welcomed 11 new lambs! The ewes are (as always) brilliant mothers, which is good news for us as Amy and Lilly had triplets! To allow the lambs to have constant access to extra feed but not other greedy ewes the wood work team built a 'lamb creep' where the lambs can go in and nibble! They rely on their mothers milk for the…
