Getting ready for sales day 7th December 11-3, everyone is welcome!

November is a time for finishing off projects and getting ready for colder weather approaching us in winter. Some of the vegetable beds have been covered and insulated, this is to stop any new seeds from settling into the soil and to keep the soil a little warmer so that any seeds already in the bed wont be killed in colder temperatures.

The horticulture team are in full swing with making wreaths ready for our sales day on 7th December 11-3. Be sure to pop down and check the farm out, there will be lots on offer including Christmas trees, calendars, jams, crafts and fresh food in the cafe.

The sheep are looking great and have enjoyed moving to their new winter field which is full of lush grass! We don’t think the grass will be there for long! Here they are before the move…

Finally at this time of year we are treated to some amazing sunsets on the farm. This one was taken last week at the end of a very cold but sunny day!
