Lamb Spam!

Lamb Spam!

March means lambing at the farm and this year has been especially busy with lots of lambs arriving! This year we welcomed 12 lambs, which broke down into a set of quads, two sets of triplets and one set of twins. The ewes have got their work cut out that's for sure! We will be keeping a close eye on them to make sure that the ewes are getting all the extra feed they need and that non of the lambs are missing out on any milk! The lambing camera worked really well and allowed us to be on site…

Fancy February

Fancy February

February has seen some huge developments at the farm! Heritage and Sons construction came to the farm to install several new water troughs in the fields and to provide water to our vegetable beds so that during the summer months we don't have to find miles and miles of hose pipes! The project workers loved watching the digger do all of the hard work and as the weather was so dry you would hardly know any work has been done at all! Keeping bio diversity and productivity in mind, the woodland has now reached semi maturity and the canopy has…

Our bug hotel is officially open!

Happy new year to all our lovely supporters of the farm! We had some great news last week that all of our ewes are pregnant so we will be lambing again in March! The frost also means…

They also made us a brand new picnic bench as well as re staining our stable block ready for winter! As always we would like to say a massive thank you to all those involved as without your help we wouldn't be able to tackle such large projects at the farm!
