November at the farm so far…

The dark nights have arrived and we are now entering the beginnings of winter! The farm looks spectacular at this time of the year... We would like to say a huge thank you to the employees from N Power who joined us last week and the employees from Jaguar Landrover who have given their time to the farm over the last three days. Quick update on farm life

The farm has is looking fantastic with all this beautiful weather we have been having. The horticulture gardens are looking amazing and are attracting lots of wildlife. Our poly tunnels also seem to home to some weird and wonderful wildlife... check out this whopper of a caterpillar! A few months ago a group of employees from Sytner BMW came to help us with some jobs around the farm. Many Thanks!

The year is flying so fast that we forgot to post a blog for March! Woops! So lots to update you on in this blog... Two weeks ago the farm was lent a helping hand from Workman (Park management), Honeywell, Securitas, Service Master, Integrias Landscapes and Kingcombe Aquacare from Birmingham Business Park who joined us for the day to help us with some jobs. The team split into three with one group putting up the summer house which we moved from CGS, another group took on the endless task of painting the fencing around the farm, and the final group…

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! As always we are starting the new year full steam ahead and have started a few new projects! This includes our new aviary. We have been very fortunate and Solihull Lions have kindly donated £680 for us to build the aviary and fill it full of birds! We are looking to fill the aviary with either budgies or zebra finches and canaries! The choice lies with the project workers who are yet to vote on it! To make way for the new addition we have taken down (demolished) the old shed next to the hay store…

RSA come to the farm!

Yet another busy week at the farm! A group of employees from RSA joined us for the day  on Wednesday to help us with some jobs that we often don't get time to do. They decided that they would give our pool room and toilets a much-needed lick of paint! The toilets are now nice and bright and look new again! The pool room is a porta cabin where the  project workers have their morning meeting, breaks and have the chance to keep dry if its raining!
