The farm is really springing into life and there are wonderful colours all over the gardens! The hanging baskets created by the horticulture team look wonderful and are still available to purchase outside the front of Berrys cafe.
Every couple of months the farm runs a craft club where project workers ca attend to help make things for us to sell on our sales days. These 100% recycled bird nest boxes have been really popular on our sales day! We only have three left so if you want to treat the birds in your garden to an extra comfy nest they are £12.50.
The ewes have enjoyed a summer hair cut and have now been moved back to our field up the lane. The bottle lambs which we took charge of in may have now all been weaned and have joined the main flock where the big ewes are showing them the ropes!
Finally say hello to two of our new six chickens! These girls are currently hanging out in one of our stables until they get a bit bigger as our current hens decided size matters and didn’t give them a friendly welcome!
